Airtel Unveils 'Xstream' STB, Smart Stick Ahead of Jio GigaFiber Launch

Alee of the commercial launch of Jio Fibre on Thursday, Bharti Airtel on Mon announced the launch of Airtel Xstream which will offer Alive TV, video, music, news, and sports across an OTT smart stick, Internet-enabled fix meridian box and manus-held devices.

Information technology enables customers to access all this content beyond the screen of their choice – TV, PC, and smartphone – with a unified User Interface. Airtel's Xstream set elevation box would be capable of streaming DTH, OTT and IPTV content.

Priced at Rs iii,999, the Airtel Xstream Box volition offer a complimentary one year subscription (worth Rs 999) to all Airtel Xstream app content in improver to 1 month subscription to a HD DTH pack. All existing Airtel Digital TV customers can upgrade to Airtel Xstream Box at a special cost of Rs ii,249.

Along with the option to cull from over 500 TV channels, the Airtel Xstream Box comes pre-installed with Airtel Xstream app (over 10,000 movies and shows), Netflix, Amazon Prime number Video, YouTube and Airtel Shop (for advanced gaming with loftier-terminate graphics).

The Xstream platform will integrate diverse OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hungama, Eros and Wynk. As part of this service Airtel also launched its Xstream stick which is priced at Rs 3,999.

The Airtel Xstream Box has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and congenital-in Chromecast. It comes with a universal remote that features Google Assistant-based voice search and hot keys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube.
